A new paradigm for education
These terms, like concurrent learning, are new paradigms for education. This is a new paradigm for education, one that has a new mission: not to make merely proficient individuals.
“What am I ever going to use this for?” is a common question people have. Well, it’s not about that. It’s about refining your mind through the experience of mathematics.
They’ll learn Algebra 1, but your assessment will be far richer, and your teaching will be far more beautiful.
Algebra 1
Powers · Equations · Functions
Complex numbers
Guided to it
Student uses Mathematics. They play with it. They spend time with it. Over time, they develop the proficiency, and then they pass the class. Imagine that.
They just sit with it, and they’re like, “Okay, you’re Algebra 1.” They’re guided to it, guided to it. They pass the class.
I think you can continually bring them back and say, “Here are the rigors that ultimately you should be learning.”
Teachers can see the details
Students will actually be able to showcase their comprehension profile. Not the details of it, but teachers will be able to assess the details of it.
Teachers can have their own login and say, “Oh, here are my students.” You go in and you say, “Oh, look at the proficiency the student has achieved,” and the teacher can look at their details.
